Our motor sports experts here at Gallagher have worked with CAMS to create a tailored National Insurance Program that incorporates Personal Accident Cover, Public Liability Cover and Professional Indemnity Cover.
Personal Accident insurance can provide financial assistance to insured individuals (such as CAMS license holders, crew, officials and volunteers) who are injured during a CAMS-approved activity. This excludes any medical costs that are covered (or partly-covered) by Medicare. More information on Medicare coverage can be found on the Make A Claim page.
Public Liability Insurance can provide protection for CAMS and its insured representatives against legal and associated costs following an accusation of negligence.
Professional Indemnity insurance provides protection for insured CAMS representatives against legal and associated costs that may occur if they are accused of negligent acts, errors or omissions.
Most activities with a CAMS Permit are generally covered by the CAMS National Insurance Program. This includes official races, official practice sessions and social permit events
Most activities conducted by CAMS affiliated sporting car clubs are generally covered by the CAMS National Insurance Program. This includes committee meetings, social events, fundraising and working bees.
Most activities conducted by CAMS affiliated enthusiast car clubs are general covered by the CAMS National Insurance Program. This includes social events static displays, fundraising and committee meetings.
