Gallagher and the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) have announced that they have extended their existing partnership for a further three years.
Through the partnership, CAMS can provide significant insurance coverage to its members as Gallagher offers public liability and professional indemnity cover to CAMS and its insured representatives, as well as personal accident cover for those injured at CAMS events.
Andrew Faber, Principal Broker – Sport at Gallagher, said that the continued partnership highlights Gallagher’s commitment to the sporting community in Australia.
“Gallagher is proud to be the official insurance brokering partner for CAMS and pleased to be able to provide coverage and advice to its members when it comes to public liability and professional indemnity, as well as personal accident cover,” Faber said.
“There is extensive information available online through the CAMS Insurance Handbook which outlines exactly the benefits that are on offer and we certainly encourage everyone to understand how this helps them.”
CAMS CEO, Eugene Arocca, said that the organisation is “thrilled” that the partnership will continue.
“CAMS members certainly benefit from their great offerings, whether they are event organisers or competitors, it provides real peace of mind,” Arocca said.
“The recent reduction in excess payments on public liability insurance is evidence of our terrific partnership with Gallagher and it is very clear to us that they have a significant understanding of the motor sport industry and the coverage our members require.”
