Known as the world’s fastest team sport, Ice Hockey is a thrilling sport with a somewhat surprisingly long history in Australia, spanning over 100 years. However, all that speed and skill in the rink creates its own unique set of risk factors, which need to be considered when crafting a unified sports insurance program.
The sports team at Gallagher are proud to help protect members of the ice hockey community through our partnership with Ice Hockey Australia. Together, we’ve created the Ice Hockey Australia National Insurance Program. This program is designed to protect the physical, financial and legal safety of all those associated with the sport of ice hockey from players to coaches and officials.
