Steve has over 25 years insurance experience specialising in broking and providing insurance solutions to the sport and recreation industry and is recognised as a leader in the development and service of sports specific insurance programs. In his career Steve has been responsible for a variety of National and State based sporting organisations, associations and clubs including the Football Federation of Australia (FFA);  A-League; 2015 Asian Cup National Rugby League; Australian Rugby League Commission; 2017 Rugby League World Cup; Basketball Australia; National Basketball League; and Harness Racing NSW.

Terry has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and specialises in evaluating, placing and servicing sporting and motorsport risks. Servicing a number of national sporting accounts and high profile motor racing teams. Terry is active in the local sporting community, playing soccer most of his life and a long-time water-skier. He is committed to offering the best achievable outcomes for his clients and his service standards are parallel with his passion and knowledge for the industry.

Michael has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. He commenced working in a claims advocacy role prior to moving into a broking role. Michael joined Gallagher in 2012 and during this time has been involved in all aspects of his clients’ insurance programs, from marketing and placement of both domestic and international placement services, to day-to-day operations, general client interface. Michael services both large private, publicly listed and sports insurance programs. He has a wide range of insurance experience with a number of marquee clients in the sports, storage, property owners and developers, agricultural and energy sectors.

Kim has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years, specialising in sports and recreation insurance.  Key accounts include the New South Wales Rugby League; National Rugby League and Football Federation Australia (FFA).

Hayden started his career in Insurance in 2016. In the last three years, Hayden has specialised in Sports and Leisure insurance, assisting clients to develop risk strategies, as well as the structure and implementation of insurance programs using insurers locally and globally across a range of insurance products, including player accident.

After an eight-year tenure at the Brisbane Lions as a Professional AFL Player, Archie prematurely retired from professional football to forge a long-term path in the corporate world.

Archie is an extremely hardworking, resilient, adaptable individual with a strong willingness to connect with people and foster meaningful professional relationships. During his time at the Lions, he has completed both Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Business whilst playing full-time.

In addition to Archie’s sporting achievements, his time within the elite performance environment has provided him with many skills and knowledge that have translated seamlessly into the broking world, which has proven advantageous to businesses, particularly sports organisations.

Maria’s insurance career commenced in 2003, driven by an innate desire to assist others, she found the insurance sector to be an ideal fit. Seeking continuous growth and professional development, Maria embraced the challenge of obtaining her Diploma of General Insurance, leading her to transition into the specialised field of Insurance Broking.

Maria’s passion for health and fitness became evident through her previous ownership of gyms. By combining her enthusiasm for helping individuals and sports with her expertise in broking, she takes pride in cultivating strong partnerships with clients and offering comprehensive solutions.

Monique started in insurance in 2008 as a Claims Assistant to a Liability and Property Loss Adjuster before moving into a claims handler role in 2009 specialising in the areas of Sporting Association Personal Accident, Corporate Travel, Expatriate Medical and Redundancy benefit claims for four different insurers. In 2014, Monique became a team leader in Direct Customer Travel insurance claims.

In February 2016 Monique started at Gallagher and has progressed through a variety of roles in our claims management team handling a variety of claims ranging from Liability, Personal Accident, Property, Motor claims, amongst others. From January 2018 Monique joined the Gallagher Sport team to bring her experience and technical claims advice to ensure our clients are supported and guided through the claims process.
